Border Patrol agents have intercepted 3,000 pounds of marijuana that drug smugglers attempted to disguise as a shipment of fresh watermelons, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection press release.

Authorities at the Pharr International Bridge cargo facility found 390 packages of marijuana concealed within the watermelon shipment. The drugs were found in a tractor trailer that authorities stopped for inspection on Wednesday in Pharr, Texas.

The total shipment of drugs are worth at  $600,092.

“Smugglers continue to be creative as they attempt to introduce illegal narcotics into our country,” said Port Director Efrain Solis Jr. in the press release.

This isn’t the first time that authorities have encountered such a smuggling method. In January 2016, Border Patrol seized 2,500 pounds of marijuana disguised as carrots.
