VP Debate: Trump Winery Private Watch Party And High Energy Support Samual Lane October 5, 2016 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr VA Students for Trump Coalition at Waffle House (October 5, 2016) Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the private watch party held at the Trump Winery in Charlottesville, VA. This was, of course, to watch the debate between Vice Presidential candidates Mike Pence and Tim Kaine. I arrived to the event at 8:40pm with 20 minutes until debate start. Parking my car in a remote lot, I took a shuttle to the hall used for this party. Departing the shuttle and walking to the venue, I saw real patriots in a classy traditional setting reminiscent of our founding fathers, for the Trump Winery is the historic Albemarle Estate near Charlottesville, VA. Trump Winery Watch Party Hall I had a glass of Trump Chardonnay and sat in the viewing hall with a huge group to watch the debate. There have been many reports on the debate with Mike Pence rightly stated to be the victor and the exuberance of the crowd was phenomenal. The only downside was a brief reset of the feed as the device that was broadcasting did a forced update reset. Untimely though it was, it did not dampen spirits. As the debate ended, people started to depart and I was at the end of the crowd and found myself speaking with the well spoken and honorable Brian Landrum who is schooled in law. He is the Chairman of the VA Student Trump Coalition out of Richmond. He is professional about the need for proper leadership for our country, but also has a fun side with jokes and a genuine kind nature. We spoke at the venue and on the shuttle, and when at the car staging area I was introduced to the larger group of students for Trump from a couple of the organizations that were there. I want to extend a special greeting to these great young Americans, as I am confident they will be leaders in our future. They give hope for long term prospects. In conversation with this group I was asked if I would like to go to Waffle House for an after party gathering. It sounded like a good idea and was. The groups had carpooled and everyone getting to respective cars, created a train of cars heading out of the estate. A short while later we were parked at Waffle House. Going inside, we filled several tables. In conversation I was treated with getting to know these patriots as they also became familiar with me. One such person is Josh Rosene. He is the VA Field Organizer for Trump for President. We had a chance to talk for a great while and it is easy to see why he was hired to work within the campaign directly. He is a humble and ethical man with a sincere interest in our country with Mr Trump as the leader. We talked on the lighter side of topics including personal gaffs and successes. I did not get a chance to ask him, but get a sense he will be a continued asset to a Trump administration if he was so inclined. My larger takeaway confirms what I already understood. People who support Mr Trump tend to be integrity driven. That was certainly the case here.
